Wait, a mess-free green clay mask?

Wait, a mess-free green clay mask?

Before we get into today's blog i wanted to thank you in advance for visiting our site - we are a small family owned and operated skincare business since 2015!

We're not some mass manufactured skincare brand with a fancy large advertising budget so your support means a long way even if it means taking time out of your day to leave us a review!

Today i'm so excited to share my favourite self-care kit - our Green Clay Face Mask Starter kit. It's a nice reminder to prioritise our skin especially when we have had a long week and neglected our skincare routine a bit.

Pure French Green Clay acts like a magnet - drawing out excess oil without disrupting your skin's natural balance. This helps reduce breakouts and unclogs pores, leaving you with a detoxified feeling, clearer, healthier complexion INSTANTLY.

Speaking of breakouts, I've found this mask to be a lifesaver too! A small amount as a spot treatment can help calm those pesky pimples overnight.

While we often share our mask for oily and acne prone skin concerns, but it is actually great on sensitive and dry skin to.

Just make sure you rinse off before the mask cracks.

Being a powder form (because our skin can do without extra added preservatives and nasties), we know the struggle of a messy clay mask application.

That's why the kit includes everything you need for a mess-free application, so you can relax and enjoy your self-care ritual.

See the Instagram Reel we posted on it:

You can mix Green Clay with:

For Oily Skin:

  • Honey: Honey has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, making it a great addition for oily skin prone to breakouts. It also adds a touch of moisture to the mask.
  • Apple Cider Vinegar: A diluted amount of apple cider vinegar (1 part vinegar to 3 parts water) can help balance the skin's pH and further reduce oiliness.
  • Tea Tree Oil: A single drop of tea tree oil can be helpful for its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, but be cautious as it can be irritating for some. Opt for a diluted blend or a patch test first.

For Dry Skin:

  • Plain Yogurt: Yogurt adds a boost of moisture and probiotics, which are beneficial for the skin's microbiome. Choose plain yogurt with no added sugar or flavoring.
  • Avocado: Rich in healthy fats and vitamins, avocado provides deep hydration and nourishment for dry skin.
  • Your favourite face oil : A soothing and hydrating option, the nourishing face oil helps calm irritation and provides moisture without feeling greasy.

For Sensitive Skin:

  • Oatmeal: Ground oatmeal has calming and anti-inflammatory properties, making it ideal for sensitive skin. It can also add a gentle exfoliating effect.
  • Chamomile Tea: Chamomile tea has calming and soothing properties that can reduce redness and irritation. Use cooled tea to mix with the clay.
  • Honey (limited): Honey can be beneficial for sensitive skin in small amounts due to its moisturizing and antibacterial properties. However, do a patch test first to ensure it doesn't cause irritation.

Try our Green Clay Face Mask kit and see for yourself how great your skin will feel when you apply this on a consistent weekly basis!

I hope you love it as much as I do!

PS: If you use the Green Clay Mask without our bowl, always use a non-metallic bowl and utensil to mix your clay mask, as metal can interact with the clay and reduce its effectiveness.
