FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

1. Where does Zen Botanics ship?

Zen Botanics currently ships to only Australia (sorry international friends but we are working on it)

2. How soon can I expect my order?

As we like to make sure you’re getting the freshest available and each item is handcrafted, it may take a little longer to get to you than standard machine/mass produced item.

However, we typically expect to ship about 1-3 business days from the day your order is placed.

3. How do you preserve your ingredient if they are so natural?

Often preservatives in skincare are causes for irritations so we use only ECOCERT and COSMOS approved preservatives. 

ECOCERT and COSMOS approved means the preservatives are safe, effective and good to use on skin. They are also free from genetically modified organisms (GMOs), parabens, phenoexyethanol, nanoparticles, silicones, PEG, synthetic perfumes and dyes, animal-derived ingredients, petroleum-derived ingredients, hexane, gluten, sulfates and phthalates.

All our ingredients are cruelty free and not tested on animals.  

We approach skincare in a similar way as food so you can enjoy the real benefits of 100% clean products without irritants and unnecessary nasties getting in the way!

4. Will Zen Botanics products expire?

We don’t have a formal expiration date but since our products are all natural, we recommend you use the product within 3 months (water-based products) and 6 months (oil-based products) right after you receive your item.

Depending on how you use and store it, it can last even longer. Temperature changes throughout the day and night can cause changes to the texture but don’t worry, the efficacy of the product is the same.

We do strongly suggest you keep them out of direct sunlight and store at room temperature or below. If it smells weird or looks discolored, please discontinue use to be safe.

5. Are your ingredients organic?

We love organic ingredients and include them in our formulations when possible. Some organic ingredients can still cause sensitivities and irritations despite them being organic. Our real focus is to provide safe, effective and 100% clean skincare free from synthetic fragrances, synthetic preservatives, parabens and sulfates. 

6. How is Zen Botanics different from other skincare brands?

Zen Botanics is a  100% clean beauty brand that has been lovingly prepared for anyone whether or not you are a complete advocate or infrequent user of all natural skincare products. Our mission is to make it easier kick the toxins out of your skincare  while bringing some zen into your skincare regimen. We believe any change no matter how small matters. There is nothing we want more than to see happy skin from the inside and out.

7. What is your packaging like?

Our bottles, jars and labels are all recyclable glass and PET plastic.

We are all for environmentally conscious packaging so aim to continually improve on making better eco-friendly decisions for the business as we grow.
