CAN YOU SHARE BAR SOAP?
Can you share a bar of soap?
YES!!! You can absolutely safely share bar soap...Unless you have a compromised immune system.
Germs do live on soap but give it a good rinse before lathering up and then wash your hands for a minimum of 20-45 seconds .
The germs will wash away.
Scientists have concluded that bacteria is not transferred to the second user of the same bar of soap...even under extreme usage conditions. They intentionally contaminated bars of soap with pathogenic bacteria including E.coli, Pseudomonas and had 16 subjects wash their hands with these bars.
After washing, none of the subjects had detectable levels of bacteria on their hands.
A simple soap bar does the job and a good one (like for example...ours! 😂) is great for use by anyone in the household and safe for sharing ✨
