1. Seriously hydrating and goodness from ingredients
Natural face oil products which are 100% plant-based and nut-based oils not only help penetrate into your skin to combat dryness, but can also balance oil production. Think of it as like a multi-vitamin for your skin.
2. If you are patient and use the right kind of face oil, that 'greasy' oily feeling on your skin will be soon forgotten.
Okay, oils can remind you of the same stuff that pizza and chips are fried in and that oily feeling on your skin can take some getting used to. Though i swear it is a must-have in your skincare routine, especially at times when your skin is dry.
Once applied, you might look like a shiny, slippery mess but after a few minutes, the oil will have absorbed, leaving you feeling like you've just applied a rich cream moisturiser.
Face oils are to best applied at night so don't worry you're less likely to be seen (haha!)
If you're still not convinced, try squalane and jojoba oil. They're my two favourite picks for people with oily skin (though they are just as fabulous for people with dry and sensitive skin). If you're just beginning your journey into face oils, these two oils are the go-tos.
3. Myth busted: Oils do not cause pimples.
Look for oils with ingredients that have low comedogenic ratings. Some oils rate higher on the comedogenic scale meaning they are more likely to clog your pores and cause acne. I guess this is where a little research comes in, but i would hope that your facial oil is made with ingredients that rate zero to low on the comedogenic scale!
